Recruitment Open Day - Teleperformance

Teleperformance are hosting a Recruitment Day to find new Customer Service Advisers. The event takes place at Teleperformance offices, Victoria Place, Airdrie on Wednesday 4 January with 3 time slots available: 10am, 11.30am and 1pm.

Anyone interested in attending should speak to their Jobcentre Plus adviser. Please note that this event is only open to those that have spoken with their adviser and is not for the general public.

The recruitment event has been organised by Teleperformance working in partnership with North Lanarkshire’s Working and Jobcentre Plus. The company are keen to recruit individuals that have expressed an interest in working within a Contact Centre but perhaps don’t have the necessary customer services skills. Please note that PC skills are essential. These roles are available for individuals aged 16+ and there is no credit check or disclosure.

Individuals attending the event will hear a 30 minute presentation delivered by the training provider, Teleperformance; which provides an overview of the training programme and outlines the skills required to become a Customer Service Adviser. Interviews will also take place enabling individuals to talk through their previous work history, their abilities and their personal skills. If an individual is successful they will be notified before the Friday of that week and will need to attend an appointment with Job Centre in order to start training.

The course is scheduled to commence on Monday 9 January 2012 from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday for two weeks at Teleperformance, Victoria Place, Airdrie. Participants would remain on their benefits. Lunch will be provided and travel reimbursed at agreed set rate.

Everyone who successfully completes the course are guaranteed to progress to Teleperformance Assessment Sessions.  Successful participants will be offered a position with Teleperformance.

The salary on offer is dependant on experience but it will meet the national minimum wage.

For more information contact David Tennant at Jobcentre Plus on 01355 564376
